Responsibility
- Prospect, identify, and qualify potential leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other sales techniques.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers’ energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, addressing their questions and concerns effectively.
- Provide accurate and timely quotations for solar installations, taking into consideration system design, sizing, pricing, and available incentives.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure proposed solar solutions align with customers’ needs and site requirements.
- Maintain a well-organized CRM system to track customer interactions, sales activities, and progress toward sales goals.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, consistently striving for business growth.
- Generate and submit regular sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities to sales management.
- Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any post-installation concerns.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and stay informed about advancements in solar technology.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in related field.
- Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technology and the renewable energy industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a team player.
- Knowledge of local solar incentives, regulations, and market trends is a plus.
